Lace up your skates, turn up the boombox and get ready to sew your heart out! Make the cutest dresses and snazziest skirts to pop on with your old (or new!) skates. Sew Lysa’s own cassette tape zippy pouch pattern, or some puffy pillows, or a boombox bag (to hold all your favorite sewing tools)! Then either fussy cut, paper piece OR straight up make a quilt for those you love most!
Inevitably Lysa (pronounced Lisa) also became a designer, maker and if we're really honest, a collector of all things retro. It was only a matter of time before she started drawing, painting, printing and inventing her own modern sewing and surface pattern designs. Forever curious, and genetically a DIY-er, she's always itching to learn something new. Throughout her work she uses cheeky cheerfulness, with bright, graphic, optimistic colors... which might explain why if she had to be a print, she'd be a polka dot (since dots are unassuming and polkas are outrageously fun)!
